What makes him an even greater person is his modesty. He never wanted to be a leader, he never wanted to be in the spotlight. He did what he did because he had to do it, he couldn’t stand what was happening around him with the series of horrible leaders after Ravencrest. This is entirely why we haven’t anything from him since the War of the Ancients. He doesn’t want to be a hero, doesn’t want to be worshiped. Unfortunately, this just amplifies his heroism and epicness.
