Cataclysm, Everything Revealed…

maelstromMMO-Champion has a great post up listing everything, and I mean everything, that has now been leaked about WoW’s next expansion.

Some of it is very surprising, some of it is stuff we’ve speculated for awhile.

The article can be found here.

I don’t believe the half of it, its from Something Awful and iirc that website posts only negative stuff about games, sarcarsm comments or mock the current subject.

some things that I disagree:

Troll Druid, Tauren Paladin/Priest,
1k needles being flooded (what happens to Feralas anyone?)
Flying in the old world: they said before that its hard to fix and If you ever did some “exploration” did you see the huge unused gap between SW and Dun Morogh its a massive hole they will have to fill up, there is also a unused zone north of Swamp of Sorrows..

I like the part that Thrall is the new guardian however Imo it should’ve been Jaina if you could pick.

“Thrall giving Garrosh the lead + Cairne being killed for political reasons?” that sounds like a bad joke to me

“Redesigning Onyxia’s Lair in Patch 3.2.2 was just the first step” this was done to celebrate 5 year anniversairy just like u had a bear last year nothing else has to be said here..

And if you ask me each year all the stuff about leaks and others.. all sounds like part of the commercial plan of Blizzard to “get the crowd ready” for the next Expansion, Wouldn’t it suck if they announce something without anyone knowing something about it before hand and everybody goes like “OMGWTF lame”

I don’t hink this is fake, but I can’t agree with 85 lvl cap. Think twice. Maelstrom with Emerald Dream > Burning Legion Homeland > ? There must be something to reach level 100.

On the other hand I believe we won’t see any new class. Without Pandaraens there is no good candidate. So, there won’t be any new class. Worgen with two forms also makes extra sense. ;( woren rogues will b 2 op to my ud rog. 🙁

Much of this I heard for the first time, and I must say I’m suprised. Maybe they’ll add more South Seas content with after-Cataclysm patch? Then, this make sense.

regarding ED I doubt that it will be with the upcoming patch altho as a Druid ingame I wanted the ED to become available ever since wow classic 😀 this might be the reason that if its true the cap is 85 so ED xp is 90 and legion homeland is 100? also

“Expansion pack beta tests covered in the Beta Club are the next five beta tests following Beta Club enrollment, or beginning before the program expiration date of December 31st, 2015, whichever comes first. Entry into each beta test is subject to acceptance of each beta test’s Terms of Service and End User License Agreements.”

this means that we can probably expect Blizz to have 2015 as their date for their unannounced mmo? to be ready and if it wouldn’t reach that deadline they just simply make extra expansions for WoW as a backup?

This forum post of mine explains why I do not believe a majority of the things in that post (and I even provide some proof).

A good deal of this has solid evidence, but even more is on shaky ground. Extraordinary claims, my friend, require extraordinary evidence.

Thanks Oma now I can use that to show my guildies who believe everything that is posted on MMO-champ comes from Blizzard co-workers..

I am sure by the end of this week, when blizzard has Blizzcon that we will all find out what is going on. That is usually the case when it comes to new expansions and such, it will all be told officially at Blizzcon.

I think it will be very interesting to see what their plans are and who was right and who was wrong. 😛

Yea the whole Cairne getting assassinated thing because hes a “traitor” smacks of a lot of wrong.

We’re forgetting, Thrall is the new Guardian of Azeroth, he’s directing the horde AND alliance, what ever happens within each, is his business. If I were Thrall, hell if anyone was Thrall and your appointee to your position pulled a bull stunt like that I would flip out.

Cairne has been a steadfast supporter of the Thrall method of thinking, which to be honest has garnered them the support of blood elfs, the undead, and the death knights, Garrosh would have simply turned them away or scoffed at them in their attempts of diplomacy.

I really hope that Cairne doesn’t die, because if that happens, a lot of the bond that I feel for the horde will be gone.
