Chris Avellone is the father of gaming in my youth. I’ve played, for the most part, every single game he’s done. I recently replayed Baldur’s Gate, BG2, Fallout 2, and Oblivion over again and had a blast reliving the stories. Although I played Doom, Duke Nukem, Mario, and all of that during my pre-teen and early teen years - these games will forever mark the golden days of my gaming. I really hope his ideas and games will forever proliferate and never fail to disappoint. Although Neverwinter Nights 2 seems to herald an end to Avellone for me… sigh.
